We offer two types of fine art prints that are made in the USA and carry UK Fine Art Trade Guide Certification. You may also request for our data sheets and certification documents :)

 

We offer the choice of the Smooth (300gsm) or Lightly Textured (Watercolour 310gsm) Fine Art Prints - Our fine art prints are all printed and individually hand-cut in Singapore

Why Fine Art Prints?

Fine art prints are very different from standard paper.
Normal paper is made by crushing timber into pulp, then refining it to create paper.

 

While great for photocopying, paper made this way is not suitable for fine art reproduction.
The wood pulp contains lots of impurities that reduce the lifespan of the print significantly.

 

Instead of wood pulp, our fine art papers are made from 100% cotton rag.
This is high grade cotton which has been rolled into an extremely high quality printing paper.

The method for making fine art paper has been refined in Europe at paper mills that have operated for hundreds of years.
 

Our fine art papers are comparable to premium products such as Hahnemuhle 308. We take this paper and print using the latest genuine Lucia Pro pigment inks from Canon. This ink/paper combination is certified to last 25 years without fading.

You can also opt for a torn-edge finish

 

What Constitutes Giclee Printing - And Why Our Fine Art Prints Are Giclee Prints

Giclee printing is a type of inkjet printing and must satisfy at least these three basic criteria in order for a print to be considered a true giclee:
 

1) Document resolution

The printed image must have a minimum of 300dpi resolution.
Our fine art prints are printed at 300dpi.
 

2) Choice of paper

The fine art paper used must be of professional quality, acid-free and archival paper. It also has to be museum-grade.
 

3) Printer

We use pigment-based inks which are certified, archival Canon Lucia Pro inks with a 12-cartridge large format inkjet printer.

Smooth VS Textured (Watercolour) Fine Art Prints

 

We offer two types of fine art paper; watercolour paper (textured) or smooth fine art paper. Each fine art print comes with a standard 0.5cm border all around (on top of the image size). If you wish to place an order that's cut-to-size, please do notify us upon ordering :)
 

You can order your fine art print online or via email.

Simply upload your image on the online ordering system (or attach in an email), select paper type, size and you are done!
